Tracing of mobile ha ndset is possibl...
Tracing of mobile handset is possible and can be done by both mobile handset companies and also mobile service providers. One of my friend had lost Nokia 6670 handset and Nokia and helped him to not only trace his handset but also he got his handset back, here in mumbai. He had lodged a complaint in Nokia Ireland, these indian people dont do anything. So please ask your mobile handset comapny to do the tracing for you. Best of luck. Dear Techtree, please forward this comment in the answer to questions related to this issue. it would be a great help to all who have lost their mobile. .
Unboxing the Samsung D900 - slender slider hands-on
Unboxing a new tech-toy is, to some, possibly the best thing about gadgets, and there's something about cellphones that make them particularly pleasant to unwrap. Perhaps it's the knowledge that you're beginning a relationship with something that will accompany you for at least a few months, something that gets brought out every day and is often a solitary source of distraction during periods of boredom. Anyway, enough psychoanalysis - this is all preamble to CrunchGear's unboxing of Samsung's gloriously thin slider the D900 (aka Black Carbon).
While it might be the dimensions that catch your initial interest, it'll likely be the specs that maintain it - Samsung have managed to squish a 3-megapixel camera in there, as well as revamping the user interface with some help from the people at Adobe.
Siemens revives the lady phone
Siemens certainly loves its lady phones. After dabbling with the unusual and sadly ill-fated Xelibri range last year the company is at it again with the CL75 handset it unveiled today in Paris. Billed as the first mobile phone designed by women, for women it apparently has soft, smooth contours and a "Silk Flower" motif. It weighs a handbag-friendly 90g, and opens to reveal a large colour display with 262,000 vivid colours. The display also doubles as pocket mirror so women can check their make-up on the move. Siemens has kept the gadget count high kitting out the phone with a built-in digital still//video camera, 11MB memory, Push and Talk technology and Instant Messaging.
To reflect the femininity of the phone, Siemens has commissioned one of the world's leading experts on perfume, Roja Dove, to create a bespoke fragrance inspired by the handset.
Orange launches the Unique phone - one handset for home and mobile ...
Orange has today launched the Unique phone - the company's first converged service, offering the benefits of fixed-line and mobile in one handset to customers in the UK, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Poland. The first handsets compatible with the service are the Motorola A910, Nokia 6136 and the Samsung P200.
The idea is simple - have a single phone for all your needs, with one number, one address book and one bill. At home, the handset connects by Wi-Fi mode to the Orange Livebox, with calls routed via the net. And outside the Wi-Fi network, it functions on a mobile network. You can move between the mobile and home networks without interrupting your conversation - a call made at home automatically switches over to the Orange mobile network when you leave the house, with a symbol on the phone's screen informing you of the network you're connected to.
